Overview
HYPERIGS is a hashrate pool on HyperEVM built around 3,999 mining rigs. The rigs are an NFT collection that is already minted and already sold out. $HRIG is a separate token, and burning 1,000 $HRIG against a rig you own powers it on. Powered-on rigs contribute hashrate, and hashrate is the only thing that decides how much of the pool each rig receives.
The pool is funded by a 1% protocol fee on every $HRIG trade. It does not mint anything. It buys $HYPE and tokenized stock on the open market and distributes them to hot rigs every six hours.
What the protocol is
- One token with a hard cap and no minting function after deploy.
- A burn-to-hardwire mechanic that turns a token you hold into a machine that earns.
- A fee router that turns trading volume into a basket of $HYPE and tokenized stock.
- A distributor that pays that basket out to hot rigs, pro rata by hashrate, every shift.
What it is not
- Not a yield token. There is no second token and no emissions schedule.
- Not a rarity game. Traits are cosmetic; hashrate is earned by behaviour, not rolled at mint.
- Not a treasury the team controls. Fees route into the pool contract, not a multisig.

How the token behaves here
The token and the collection are two contracts, and they only meet at one place: the burn. A rig you own is cold until you spend 1,000 $HRIG on it, and the token is spent by being destroyed, not moved. There is no wrapping, no deposit and no staking contract holding your rig — it stays in your wallet, hot or cold, and trades as an NFT either way.
The supply is not a round number picked for the look of it. It is the collection, priced at what the counter opens at: 250,000 × 3,999. One rig is a fixed slice of the supply, and that is what gives the token a meaning other than its own chart.
1,000 $HRIG to power on is 1/250 of a rig. It is the price of the ticket, not a hole in the supply: every rig powered on with four overclocks each would burn 2% of it. What is burned is gone — there is no mint function to put any of it back — but nobody should read the burn as the reason to hold the token.
Quickstart
- Own a rig. They are on the secondary market; the mint is over.
- Swap $HYPE for at least 1,000 $HRIG in the Swap tab.
- Open Rigs, press Power on. The 1,000 $HRIG is burned; the rig goes hot.
- Wait for the next shift. Your rig's hashrate earns its share of the pool.
- Claim in the Pool tab whenever you like. Unclaimed rewards accrue.
Power on
Power on is the only way a rig starts earning. It is a burn: 1,000 $HRIG is destroyed, the rig is registered hot, and its hashrate counts from the next shift. You keep the rig throughout — nothing takes custody of it.
Consequences
- Circulating $HRIG only goes down. Every power-on removes 1,000 of it forever.
- A hot rig trades as an NFT, the same as a cold one — with a record attached to it.
- The rig keeps its ID, rack and traits. Nothing visual changes except the screen turning on.
- There is no undo. Powering down does not return the token (see Power down).
Hashrate
Hashrate is a unitless weight, displayed as TH/s for flavour. Every distribution splits the shift's payout across all hot rigs in proportion to hashrate at settlement.

A brand-new hot rig hashes at exactly 1.00. The theoretical maximum for a single rig is 1.60 × 3.00 = 4.80: thirty days of uninterrupted uptime plus four overclock burns. Spend two tokens on two fresh rigs and you hash at 2.00; spend the same two on one rig, as a power-on and an overclock, and you hash at 1.50. Spreading wins on day one. It stops winning once a rig has a run behind it: one rig at the cap out-hashes four fresh ones. That is the whole strategy space.

If those four were the only hot rigs, #3999 would take 4.80 / 9.52 = 50.4% of the shift.
Uptime
Uptime rewards not touching the machine. The multiplier grows +0.02 per full day a rig stays hot in the same wallet, and caps at 1.60× after 30 days.
- Counted in whole days from the shift the rig went hot.
- Resets to 1.00 on any transfer. Selling a hot rig sells the machine, not the run.
- The collection is not ours and offers no hook, so nothing tells the distributor a rig has changed hands.
Syncreads the owner and applies both the uptime earned and any reset. Anyone may call it on anyone's rigs, and everyone else's share goes up when they do. - Does not reset on claiming rewards. Claiming is free of side effects.
- Does not reset on overclocking. Burning more into a rig is not a transfer.
The cap exists so a whale who powered on in week one cannot become permanently unbeatable. After 30 days every long-running rig is equal again, and only overclock separates them.
Overclock
Overclock is the second burn. Burn another 1,000 $HRIG against a rig that is already hot and its multiplier rises +0.50×, permanently, up to 3.00× (four extra burns).
- Overclock stays with the rig through transfers. A 3.00× rig sold on a marketplace is still a 3.00× rig.
- Each overclock burn removes another 1,000 $HRIG from supply.
- It is optional. A protocol where every rig is equal at 1.00 works fine; overclock is for people who want to concentrate.
Overclock vs. more rigs
1,000 $HRIG burned as overclock adds 0.50 hashrate (×uptime). The same 1,000 burned as a new rig adds 1.00 hashrate at uptime 1.00. Overclock is therefore the worse use of a token on day one — until you account for the uptime you already accumulated. Overclocking a 1.60× rig adds 0.80. That is the trade-off: concentrate on a proven rig, or spread and start new clocks.
The pool
The pool is a contract, not a wallet. Every $HRIG swap through the official pair pays 1%, and a buy pays it in $HYPE — that is the leg the pool receives and converts. A sale pays its 1% in $HRIG, which is burned rather than banked; see the other leg below. On each shift the balance is converted:

Basket rules
- Only tokenized stocks that already trade against $HYPE on chain, in a pair with at least half an hour of price history behind it. That history is the reference every purchase is judged against.
- A pair that cannot answer for that half hour is not bought this shift. No key is needed for that and none is asked: the purchase is simply skipped, and nothing already distributed is touched.
- No single ticker exceeds 40% of the stock leg at purchase time.
- The basket is rebalanced by purchases, never by selling. The pool does not trade.
- Distributed assets are sent as-is. You receive $HYPE and the stock tokens themselves, not a synthetic.
The other leg
A buy pays its fee in $HYPE and a sale pays its fee in $HRIG, so both turn up. The $HYPE leg is what the pool converts. The $HRIG leg is burned on collection — the pool does not hold $HRIG, does not sell, and supply only goes down.
The counter
A rig always has a bid. The counter is a two-sided pool holding rigs on one side and $HRIG on the other, on a straight line: spot is what the next rig out costs, every rig taken raises it by delta, every rig sold back lowers it by the same step. A round trip is a wash before fees.

The step and the floor are the whole depth question. A linear bid pays spot − k × delta for the k-th rig it takes, so it walks down to the floor in (spot − floor) ÷ delta steps — 1,800 of them — however much money is behind it. Buying those 1,800 costs 99% of the quarter of the supply standing behind the bid. The money and the curve run out together, so neither decides in advance.
The floor is there because a line run all the way to zero takes the ask down with the bid: the pool would finish paying for its inventory and then hand the first rig back for nothing. Stopping a tenth of the way up costs 200 rigs of depth and takes that away.
- Anyone may deepen the bid by funding it. Nobody can be worse off for a deeper bid.
- Fees are two numbers and neither is an address: one stays in the pool, the other is burned on the spot.
- A rig in the pool earns nothing. It is nobody's while it sits there, and the pool says so in the same transaction that takes it in.
- Selling a hot rig into the pool and buying it straight back does not restore its run. That is the whole reason the pool reports its intake rather than leaving it to be noticed later.
Shifts & claims
A shift is six hours. Shifts settle at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00 UTC. Converting the fees into the basket is a separate call anyone may make, and the settlement does not do it — it splits whatever has arrived by then. At settlement the distributor:
- Divides everything that has arrived since the last settlement across registered hashrate.
- Credits each rig its pro-rata share of it.
Credits sit in the distributor until claimed. Claiming is a single transaction per wallet, covers every rig you hold, and has no effect on uptime. There is no expiry. There is no auto-compounding — rewards are not $HRIG and cannot be.
Edge cases
- A rig powered on mid-shift starts earning from the next settlement.
- Credit belongs to the rig, and is taken by whoever holds it. Sell with credit on it and the credit goes with it.
- If a shift collects zero fees, nothing is distributed and nothing is lost.
Power down & transfers
There is no power-down function. A hot rig stays hot until it changes hands. Selling or transferring it is the only way to "power down", and what actually happens is:
- The rig stays hot and keeps its overclock.
- Uptime resets to 1.00× for the new holder.
- Unclaimed rewards go with the rig, not the wallet — claim before you sell.
The token you burned is gone regardless. What you sell is a machine with a track record.
Racks & traits
The rigs are assigned to racks of 1,111 by ID. Rack decides the model family; within a rack, traits vary. The run was cut at 3,999, so the fourth rack is the last one and it stops at 666.

A rig with a dual head carries two faces, written as a pair. Every rig also has a Node, its own four-digit plate number, and a Base hashrate of 1 — the same 1 for all 3,999 of them.
None of this touches hashrate. A rusted taped-up one-bay with a red tube hashes exactly like a clean five-bay tower with a dish on the roof. Rarity is for the eyes and the secondary market, not the pool.
What is not here
- No second reward token. The pool pays in assets that existed before us.
- No emissions schedule. Supply only decreases.
- No blacklist, no pause, no transfer tax. The token contract has no owner-only switches on transfers.
- No dev allocation, no vesting. The team buys like everyone else.
- LP burned at launch. The initial pair cannot be pulled — the position sits in a contract with no owner and no withdrawal.
- No treasury discretion. Fees route on-chain to the pool; the basket rules are code.

Addresses are published here and pinned on X the moment they are live. Anything claiming to be HYPERIGS before that is not.
Admin surface
Nothing here can stop a claim, stop a settlement, move the 60/40, change what a power-on costs, mint anything or pause a transfer. There is no such function to call. What a key can do is name things and stop them:
- Name a ticker for the eligible list. Anyone may then put it on that list, 48 hours later, and not before.
- Take a ticker off the list, at once. A delay on this one would not be a safeguard: it can only stop a purchase, and a pair that has gone thin has gone thin now. It leaves the list rather than sitting on it flagged, so the same token can come back through a different pair — through the same two-day door as anything else.
- Move the counter's curve and its fees, and stock or unstock its inventory.
Removing a ticker from the payouts is not possible and is not meant to be: a rig that has not claimed yet is still owed against it. The list of assets the distributor pays in only ever grows, and it stops at eight.
Launch
- Done. The collection is minted and sold out: 3,999 of 3,999.
- $HRIG is deployed on HyperEVM. Fixed supply, no owner, no mint.
- 75% of the supply goes into one position, one-sided, against $HYPE. Nothing is paired with it.
- The other 25% goes behind the counter's bid, so a rig has a floor from the first day. There is no third share: no treasury, no reserve, no vesting.
- That position is handed to a contract that can take its fees and nothing else. From then on the liquidity cannot be pulled by anyone, us included.
- Trading opens. Fee routing to the pool is live from the first swap.
- Power on opens with the first settled shift.

Risks
- Smart-contract risk. The contracts are new. Audit status is published on this page.
- Price-feed risk. Tokenized stock relies on issuers and on the depth of the pair it trades in. A pair that cannot answer for the last half hour is not bought that shift — no key is needed for that and none is asked. It does not touch what is already distributed.
- Liquidity risk. Hot rigs trade as NFTs. NFT markets are thinner than token markets.
- Fee dependence. The pool grows with trading volume. No volume, no distribution.
- Irreversibility. Every burn is final.
None of this is financial advice. Machines run hot.
FAQ
Can I power on a rig I do not own?
No. Power on reads the owner and it has to be you. Buying a rig that is already hot works too — you get its overclock, and its run starts again from you.
Do I need to claim every shift?
No. Credits accrue indefinitely. Claim when gas makes sense.
What if the pool buys a stock I don't want?
You receive the stock tokens themselves and can sell them anywhere they trade. The pool never holds your rewards on your behalf beyond the claim.
Can the team change the 60/40?
No. The split is a constant in the pool contract.
Why 3,999?
Racks of 1,111, and the run was cut at four of them. The art was drawn for six; three and two thirds got built.
What happens if nobody powers on?
Nothing is lost. A shift that finds no hashrate distributes nothing and leaves the pot where it is; the next shift that finds some splits all of it.
